The principal role of RNAS Culdrose is to support the Anti- It also provides 24 hour, 365 days- There are guided tours and a public observation area with cafe for those who want to view (don't try anywhere else in case you get arrested !). There is and Air Day every July. |

Lizard Point marks the most southerly point of mainland Britain, and its hazardous rocks have claimed many ships through the centuries. The Lizard lighthouse is one of six reference stations operating around the coast of Britain fitted with the differential global positioning system. The Eden Project is a large environmental centre built in a disused clay pit containing 3 giant Biodomes with plants from around the globe from in various climates. It is virtually a 'must do' if you have never been there. If you come in the cooler parts of the year make sure you can take off some layers layers when going into the tropical zone ! |

The largest preserved mining site in the UK. The museum tells the story of mining in Cornwall and the people who lived there. The guided tour is well worth it There are both surface and underground things to see and a good cafe overlooking the Atlantic. The National Trust steam Beam engine at Levant is only short coastal path walk away, which together can make a great day out. | |
